Mike Wright has written about Citrus County politics and local government for 36 years. His career at the Citrus County Chronicle included numerous writing and reporting awards, including in 2002 the prestigious Florida Society of Newspaper Editors (FSNE) Gold Medal for Public Service. Mike retired from the Chronicle in August 2021.
